Summary: No storms for at least the next few days (thank goodness). Temps cool today, warm up for the weekend. Rain chances come back Sunday night.

After the crazy storms this week that produced 5 EF1 tornadoes (none of which happened in our county), we are being treated to much calmer weather.

Friday – High 48* Low 30*

Temps won’t rise much today, and will be noticeable cooler than we’ve been used to. Sunny skies with a high temp expected to reach about 48 degrees. Winds out of the north at 5 to 10mph.

Tonight, temps will drop to around 30 degrees, with winds out of the north northeast at 5mph, but change to come out of the south southeast after midnight.

Saturday – High 61* Low 40*

Saturday high temps rebound to around 61 degrees, thanks to a south southwest wind of 5 to 10mph. Sunny skies are expected.

Saturday night brings in a few clouds overnight, with our low temperature dropping to about 40 degrees. Winds will be out of the south at 5 to 10mph.

Sunday – High 62* Low 50*

Sunday brings a few more clouds and a bit more gusty winds as the high temperature reaches about 62 degrees. Winds will be out of the south at 10 to 15mph, with some gusts as much as 20mph.

Sunday night introduces a 20% chance of rain, with our low temp only falling to about 50 degrees. Winds out of the south at 10mph.

Workweek

Expect rain through the first half of the work week, but so far no forecasted severe weather. Monday night into Tuesday brings the best chance to see rain. Highs will remain in the 60’s for the entire week.
