Welcome to what I hope to be a regular thing here on the weather blog. I’m hoping to be able to start posting weather updates to this site, starting 1-2 times a week and upping it over time. Hang with me as I build this into a routine.

Anyways… to the weather!
If there was ever a good week to start doing these weather updates here, this would be a good one. If you’ve stepped outside today, you’ll notice a nice reprieve from the heat, humidity, and rain that has dominated our summer so far. Our school kids are getting a fabulous first day of school weather day (although they may wish they could have been outside to enjoy it more!).
Today we are expected to reach around 85 degrees and drop to an overnight low of 66 degrees. We aren’t expecting any rain again until maybe Wednesday night and overnight.
Our Tuesday and Wednesday looks to be about the same, warming a touch each day. Some fog may be possible overnight Tuesday into Wednesday morning, so be mindful as you’re driving during these times especially kiddos now waiting for busses in the mornings.
Election Day Thursday looks to be beautiful but warm as temps will likely hit the 90’s again. No rain is forecasted while the polls are open.
Next blog will focus on this weekend’s weather, but here’s a quick preview: it warms up and gets hot again by the weekend, but not the high heat days we’ve experienced. However, as it seems to be the case every weekend, rain and storm chances come back starting Thursday night and hang around through the weekend.
Friday and Saturday during the day appear to have the higher chances now, but we’ll have rain chances at least through the start of our week next week.
